Pizzaiola or pizza-YOLO? You only live once, so why not take some chances with your burgers. The Air Fryer is open to experimentation, with less oil and less mess than traditional frying techniques. Drop in patties fashioned from pork sausage meat, already appropriately Italian spiced. Add a slathering of warm tomato sauce and grated mozzarella at flipping time. They’ll be so flipping good on garlic focaccia buns, with a side of sautéed green beans with garlic and balsamic.

Sauté the green beans
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Lightly oil the basket. Remove the stem ends of the green beans. Mince the garlic. In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high. Add the green beans, ⅔ of the garlic and ⅔ of the spices. Sauté, 2 to 3 min., until beginning to soften. Add 1 tbsp water (double for 4 portions) and S&P. Sauté, partially covered, 1 to 2 min., until crisp-tender. Transfer to a large bowl and add the vinegar; toss well. Reserve the pan.

Plate your dish
Divide the bun bottoms between your plates. Top each bun bottom with a patty and a bun top. Serve the green beans on the side. Bon appétit!
