Ground Beef Greek Salad Bowls
with Tzatziki & Pita
All the Greek touchpoints are here, from chopped tomatoes to creamy tzatziki. You’ll soup up a classic salad with browned beef for extra protein, and serve it with warmed pita on the side so the kids can scoop it up.

- 120g Tzatziki or raita
- 4 Pocketless pita

Preparation

Cook the beef
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high.
- Add the beef*; season with the spices and S&P.
- Cook, breaking up the meat, 4 to 6 min., until cooked through.

Mise en place
- Meanwhile, halve the cucumbers lengthwise; thinly slice crosswise.
- Medium-dice the tomatoes.
- Halve the lemon; juice ½ and quarter the remaining ½.

Warm the pita
- Warm the pita directly on an oven rack, 1 to 2 min., until soft and pliable.
- Transfer to a cutting board and cut into wedges.

Make the salad
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the lemon juice, a drizzle of oil and S&P.
- Add the cucumbers and tomatoes; toss well.

Plate your dish
- Divide the salad and beef between your bowls.
- Dollop the tzaziki over.
- Serve the pita on the side.
- Garnish with the lemon wedges. Bon appétit!
