Why pick a favourite? French onion soup is much loved for its deep, dark, cheesy notes. Pizza is an endless source of comfort and cravings. Unite them on a winter night. A spread of ricotta sprinkled with our Herb Harvest seasonings set up rounds of naan to receive a hearty topping of browned ground beef. Caramelized onions and Emmental cheese conjure up those irresistibly savoury soup qualities. And a side salad reminds you to eat your veg.

- 100g Matchstick carrots
- 1 Head of curly leaf lettuce
- 30ml Apple cider vinegar
- 50g Caramelized onions
- 60g Ricotta
- 50g Grated Emmental
- 2 Naan
- 7g Herb Harvest spices (basil, marjoram, thyme, parsley, rosemary, fennel, mint, salt, garlic, sugar, red bell pepper, vinegar powder, green bell pepper, sunflower oil, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper)

Preparation

Cook the beef
Preheat the oven to broil. In a medium pan, heat a generous drizzle of oil on medium-high. Add the beef*; season with ½ the spices and S&P. Cook, breaking up the meat, 4 to 6 min., until browned and cooked through.

Make the seasoned ricotta
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the ricotta, a drizzle of oil, ½ the remaining spices and S&P.

Assemble & broil the pizzas
Arrange the naan on a lined sheet pan. Spread with the seasoned ricotta. Top with the beef, onions and cheese. Broil, 2 to 4 min., until warmed through and beginning to crisp.

Make the salad
Meanwhile, roughly chop the lettuce. In a large bowl, combine the vinegar, 3 tbsp oil (double for 4 portions), the remaining spices and S&P. Add the lettuce and carrots; toss well.

Plate your dish
Divide the pizzas (cut into wedges) and salad between your plates. Bon appétit!
