Mise en place
Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Cut the lemon into 6 wedges. Remove the stem ends of the green beans; cut crosswise into thirds.
Cook the orzo
Add the orzo to the pot of boiling water and boil, 9 to 10 min., until just tender. In the final 3 min., add the green beans. Drain the orzo and green beans. In the same pot, heat 2 tbsp butter and the garlic on medium. Add the orzo, green beans, cream and ⅓ of the spices; stir well.
Cook the pork
Meanwhile, pat the pork dry with paper towel; season with the remaining spices and S&P. In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high. Add the pork* and cook, 3 to 5 min. per side, until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 min. before slicing against the grain.
Finish & serve
To the pot of orzo, add the juice of 2 lemon wedges; stir well. Divide the orzo and pork between your plates. Garnish with the remaining lemon wedges. Bon appétit!
*Health Canada recommends cooking pork to a minimum internal temperature of 71°C.
