Veggie Supreme Pizza
with Mushrooms & Sweet Pepper
Homemade pizza is a kids’ dinner project waiting to happen. They can help roll out the dough, and give it all the toppings, like sliced sweet pepper and sautéed mushrooms—plus heaps of grated mozzarella that’s just waiting for its moment to melt.
We will send you:
- 1 Sweet pepper
- 1 Shallot (or onion)
- 225g Mushrooms
- 200ml Tomato sauce
- 120g Grated mozzarella
- 1 Pizza dough

Preparation

Mise en place
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Set the dough aside to come up to room temperature.
- Thinly slice the mushrooms.
- Halve, core and thinly slice the sweet pepper lengthwise; drizzle with oil and season with S&P.
- Halve, peel and thinly slice the shallot; drizzle with oil and season with S&P.

Sauté the mushrooms
- In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté, 3 to 4 min., until nicely browned; season with S&P.

Assemble & bake the pizza
- On the back of a well-oiled sheet pan, stretch the dough out to a ½ inch thickness for a thick crust or ¼ inch for a thin crust.
- Spread with the tomato sauce.
- Top with the mushrooms, sweet pepper, shallot and cheese.
- Bake, 16 to 20 min., until golden brown.

Plate your dish
- Divide the pizza (cut into wedges) between your plates. Bon appétit!
