We’ve got you covered! For baked-in goodness at suppertime, you’ll coat salmon in a clever combo of ingredients—a layer of rich cream cheese, followed by a light crust of panko crumbs. Plate each fillet over a bright base of orzo pasta, boosted with a dash of lemon juice and butter. On the side, wedges of beets and string beans come from roasting in a sprinkle of their own zesty herbs.

Preparation

Mise en place
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Remove the stem ends of the string beans. Peel and halve the beets; cut into ¼ inch wedges. Juice the lemon.

Start the vegetables
On a lined sheet pan, toss the beets with a drizzle of oil, ⅓ of the spices and S&P. Roast, flipping halfway, 15 to 18 min., until partially cooked.

Boil the orzo
Meanwhile, add the orzo to the pot of boiling water and boil, 9 to 10 min., until just tender. Drain and rinse. Return to the pot and add 2 tbsp butter (double for 4 portions), the lemon juice and a pinch of salt; stir well. Keep warm.

Prepare the salmon
Meanwhile, pat the salmon dry with paper towel; season with ½ the remaining spices and S&P. Spread with the cream cheese. Place the panko on a plate. Working one at a time, coat the salmon in the panko (pressing to adhere).

Finish the vegetables & bake the salmon
When the beets are partially cooked, remove from the oven and add the string beans, garlic, a drizzle of oil, the remaining spices and S&P; toss well. Add the salmon and bake, 5 to 8 min., until the vegetables are tender and the salmon* is cooked through.

Plate your dish
Divide the orzo between your plates. Top with the salmon and vegetables. Bon appétit!
