Presenting the sequel to a favourite family movie, Ratatouille 2: Pizza Night. In which good veggies—tomato, zucchini, green pepper—meet a trusty dough ball. Kids can help stretch and shape it, drop on the toppings and cover everything with grated mozzarella.

Mise en place

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.

  • Set the dough aside to come up to room temperature.

  • Medium-dice the zucchini.

  • Halve, core and thinly slice the green pepper lengthwise.

Sear the vegetables

  • In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium.

  • Add the green pepper and sauté, 2 to 3 min., until partially cooked.

  • Add the zucchini, ½ the spices and a pinch of black pepper. Sauté, 1 to 2 min., until crisp-tender.

Assemble & bake the pizza

  • On the back of a well-oiled sheet pan, roll or spread the dough out to a ½ inch thickness for a thick crust or ⅛ inch for a thin crust.

  • Spread with the tomato sauce, leaving 1⁄2 inch free around the edge.

  • Top with the cheese, vegetables and remaining spices.

  • Bake, 16 to 20 min., until golden brown.
