So many ways to enjoy the holidaze, even while cutting back on carbs and simple sugars. When accentuated with a warm and buttery French onion topping (conveniently pre-caramelized), these ground beef patties don’t need a bun to have some fun. Form them with panko crumbs and aged white cheddar, and then pan-fry until deliciously browned. An abundant salad, striped with matchstick beets and crackling with almonds, takes up its fair share of each plate.

We will send you:

Warm the onions
In the reserved pan, heat 2 tbsp butter (double for 4 portions) on medium. Cook the onions and 1 tbsp water (double for 4 portions), scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, 30 sec. to 1 min., until warmed through and combined.
