Ground Beef Greek Salad Bowls
with Tzatziki & Pita
All the Greek touchpoints are here, from chopped tomato to creamy tzatziki. You’ll soup up a classic salad with browned beef for extra protein, and serve it with warmed pita on the side so the kids can scoop it up.

- 1 Tomato
- 2 Cucumbers
- 1 Head of curly leaf lettuce
- 120g Tzatziki or raita
- 4 Pocketless pita
- 10g Mediterranean Shores spices (paprika, garlic, sea salt, roasted garlic, black pepper, sundried tomato, tomato, red bell pepper, mustard, oregano, natural flavour, rosemary)
- 30ml Lemon juice

Preparation
Cook the beef
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high.
- Add the beef*; season with the spices and S&P.
- Cook, breaking up the meat, 4 to 6 min., until cooked through.
Mise en place
- Meanwhile, halve the cucumbers lengthwise; thinly slice crosswise.
- Medium-dice the tomato.
- Separate the lettuce leaves; tear the leaves.
Warm the pita
- Warm the pita directly on an oven rack, 1 to 2 min., until soft and pliable.
- Transfer to a cutting board and cut into wedges.
Make the salad
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the lemon juice, a drizzle of oil and S&P.
- Add the lettuce, cucumbers and tomato; toss well.
Plate your dish
- Divide the salad and beef between your bowls.
- Dollop the tzatziki over.
- Serve the pita on the side. Bon appétit!
