How about an American sports bar classic styled up for a carb-smart meal? Chunks of Buffalo chicken are hot, tender and buttery—a perfect combo with the creamy, garlicky Caesar dressing on the salad. Adding nuts boosts the protein and the crunch.
We will send you:
- 2 Organic chicken breasts (raised without antibiotics by Canadian farmers)
- 1 Head of curly leaf lettuce
- 2 Cucumbers
- 1 Celery stalk
- 60ml Caesar vinaigrette
- 30ml Buffalo sauce
- 25g Chopped walnuts

Preparation
Cook the chicken
- Pat the chicken dry; season with S&P.
- In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium.
- Add the chicken* and** cook, stirring occasionally, adding the Buffalo sauce** halfway, 4 to 6 min., until cooked through.
- Off the heat, add 2 tbsp butter (double for 4 portions); toss well.
- If the sauce seems dry, gradually add 1 to 3 tbsp water until you achieve a saucy consistency.
Mise en place
- Meanwhile, separate the lettuce leaves; tear the leaves.
- Thinly slice the celery crosswise on an angle.
- Thinly slice the cucumbers crosswise.
Make the salad
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, celery, cucumbers, walnuts (toast beforehand if desired) and vinaigrette.
Plate your dish
- Divide the salad between your plates.
- Top with the chicken. Bon appétit!
